Measure Definition & Importance |
The Library has a designated Speakers Bureau composed of volunteers from the Library Advisory Board and select staff who make public presentations to promote the Library and its services in an organized approach to the the community and neighborhood organizations. Selected participants are trained through an orientation program and utilize a presentation specifically designed to promote a consistent message to the community. This measure reflects counts of the number of presentations made by the members of the Speakers' Bureau. The intention is that more organizations and citizens will learn about the Library and its value to their community. The target is based on an increse over the previous year.
