Analysis | |
Measure Definition & Importance |
Electronic materials are relatively new formats and are in high demand due to advances in mobile and internet-based technology. There is a growing demand for Libraries to provide more materials in new and emerging technology formats, for mobile devices. This circulation measure is a count for each time an electronic material is checked out or downloaded by a customer. Increases in the measure indicate that investment in this new format is helping to satisfy the expectations of customers for this resource. Examples of these types of materials include: Ebooks, Eaudiobooks, Emusic and Evideo. The target was set based on a 2% increase over previous year.
