Analysis | |
Measure Definition & Importance |
Borrowing materials from the Library's collection is the primary library service people use most. Circulation statistics provide a count of the number of times materials are checked out or renewed. This data helps identify trends that indicate how well the library is meeting the needs for the public interest and helps determine allocation of resources such as materials, staff, funds and automated self-check services. This measure tracks the number of materials borrowed specifically by Youth and Teens below the age of 18. Examples of materials that can be checked out include: books, e-books, downloadable books, CD's, downloadable music files, DVD's. The FY2016 target is based on projected 2% increase over previous year FY2015.
