Measure Definition & Importance |
The Library provides a wide variety of educational programs, classes and workshops for youth and teens under the age of 18. The average attendance is calculated by dividing the total number of attendees at all programs by the total number of programs offered in a reporting period. The goal is to offer a selection of programs that appeal to the interests and needs of the audience. The intention is that the average attendance will increase over time to maximize resources invested. If average attendance should decrease over time, then adjustments to program decisions will need to be made accordinlgy. There is no FY2016 target because several changes were made to the programming plans that caused historical data to not be comparable. Therefore FY2016 is a benchmark year.
