| | The City's organizational culture encourages new ideas (Employee Survey)P&DA-Planning & Data Analytics |
Measure Definition & Importance |
This employee survey question allows us to determine how city employees perceive our organization in regards to innovation, but also our organization's ability to encourage new styles of thinking. Through our Lean Program, we have made a concerted effort to encourage new ways of thinking, and encourage action as a result of these fresh new ideas. We believe that our organizational openness to new ideas will be a contributing factor in improving our processes and providing our customers with a unique and exceptional customer experience. This information helps us to determine whether or not our efforts to encourage openness have had a meaningful impact on employee's perception of the organization.
