Measure Definition & Importance |
Property tax is the major source of revenue for the City's General Fund and Debt Service Fund. By more accurately budgeting the amount of property taxes, the City will be able to ensure it doesn't overbudget or underbudget due to inaccurate projections. This ensures the City doesn't overcommitt resources and it also ensures the City knows what is sustainable.

The orginal budget for sales tax compared to the actual amount collected for the same time period. The analysis will be saved on an Excel spreadsheet, named "Sales Tax KPI", and can be retrieved on the following shared drive: \\fs100\finance\KPI\Budget
