Water Department's current SCADA system, which was installed in 1987, is proprietary and outdated. Many of the components are outside of their commercial lifespan and do not meet the department's needs or DHS security standards. This project is a necessary proactive step to strengthen the security and resilience of the water department as a critical infrastructure and to ensure water delivery to customers. This project encompasses replacement of SCADA software, hardware, and its components used in the water department’s 5 water treatment plants and distribution systems
