Description
A 'Five Year Real Water Loss Management Plan' was completed in June 2020 with the goal of reducing water loss, specifically including the implementation of District Metered Areas (DMA). A DMA is a water management strategy in which a discrete area has both ingoing and outgoing flows measured and the balance is utilized to rapidly determine if leaks are present within the DMA. The DMA will consist of an inline flow meter to measure influent flows and will utilize the data provided by the AMI meters being installed as part of the MyH2O program to measure consumption.
Measurable Outcomes
Reduce real water loss within the distribution network.
